MARSHALL LAUNCHES AMPLIFY TO BACK THE FUTURE OF LIVE MUSIC
Marshall announces the launch of Amplify, a new membership programme that embeds long-term support for grassroots music into the way the brand grows. Through Amplify, Marshall commits an amount equal to 1% of member purchases on marshall.com to support local music communities starting with independent venues worldwide.
3rd of March 2026 – Independent venues are where artists play their first shows, where scenes take shape, and where future music careers begin. Yet many of these spaces are under increasing pressure. This initiative reinforces Marshall’s commitment to help strengthen the foundations of live music culture for the long term.
“For over 60 years, Marshall amplified live music, from local independent venues to the world’s biggest stages” says Jeremy de Maillard, CEO of Marshall. “Small venues are where the next generation of musicians turn first time listeners into lifelong fans. Through Amplify, Marshall is building a long-term model to support the future of live music.”
Reflecting on the collaborative spirit of the initiative, Cecilia Sparano, Communication Director at Supersonic, the iconic rock venue in Paris, noted that “it is a real pleasure to work with a brand that truly respects our DNA and places full trust in us when it comes to both the actions we lead and the programming we curate.” Sparano continued by highlighting the broader impact of the launch, adding, “This partnership represents genuine support for the fragile economy of small concert venues, and it plays a key role in allowing festivals such as Supersonic’s Block Party and They’re Gonna Be Big to continue to exist.”
Amplify is free to join via marshall.com and offers members benefits such as early access, free shipping, and priority support. Every eligible member purchase made through marshall.com contributes to backing the future of music.
“Independent venues aren’t just part of music history – they’re where the future is written,” says Nick Street, CMO at Marshall. “Amplify is how we connect our community more closely to that future. As Marshall grows, grassroots music will grow with us.”
The initiative will initially focus on independent venues globally, selected for their role in supporting emerging artists and local music communities. Support may include backline equipment, funded live events and longer-term partnerships.
