New Chairman for Marshall Group

At the Annual General Meeting on June 12th, Marshall shareholders elected Jonathan Forster as their new Chairman of the Board of Directors and welcomed Anna Mossberg as a new Board member.

Jonathan has been a long serving and prominent member of the Marshall Group Board since 2019, bringing extensive experience in music and tech to the company. He was one of the first to join Spotify in 2007, and played a key role in its growth, holding positions such as GM of Europe, MD of the Nordics, and VP of Sales for EMEA. Jonathan was instrumental in Spotify’s international expansion before leaving in 2016. He is now an active angel investor and advisor to several companies.

“It’s a great honor for me to step up as Chairman of the Board for Marshall and to succeed Henri de Bodinat who has done an incredible job during his tenure. It is an exciting moment in time for Marshall and I’m looking forward to work with the rest of the board and the phenomenal team”, said Jonathan Forster.

Henri de Bodinat has been chairman of Board of Directors since 2020, succeeding Tommy Jacobson. The company enjoyed four successful years under his chair, notably when Jeremy de Maillard was appointed as CEO as well as the creation of the Marshall Group last year. Henri holds a Harvard Business School Doctorate, is a founder of Time for Growth, a pioneer profitable growth equity fund, and has a strong background in lifestyle, music and tech, including being CEO of Sony Music France and EVP of Sony Software Europe. He has founded and invested in radio stations, digital music labels and e-com companies. Henri will remain member of the Board of Marshall, representing Time For Growth.

Anna Mossberg has a long career in International Tech. She started her career in 1996 at Telia, in 2010 she became CEO of the internet provider Bahnhof, in 2012 Senior Vice President Strategy and Portfolio Management of Deutsche Telekom, in 2015 member of the management team of Google Sweden and in 2021 the MD of the Nordic AI Lab, Silo AI Sweden. She serves as a Board Member at Volvo Cars, Swedbank, Swisscom, and European Media Group, Ringier AG. Anna holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Luleå University of Technology, MBAs from Stanford and IE University Madrid. Previously, she was a Board Member of Schibsted and Orkla. Anna Mossberg serves as a member of the Advisory Board for the Impact Forum for Sustainability board of the World Economic Forum.

Since the creation of the Marshall Group last year, Marshall has continued its strong revenue and profit growth journey with revenues reaching 4,007 MSEK in 2023 with an adjusted operating margin of 19 percent. Since 2020 Marshall Group has delivered exceptional revenue and profit growth with a CAGR of 31,6 percent between 2020 and 2023 and adjusted operating profit increasing from MSEK 20.7 to MSEK 757.
